In 2022, Cowboy became the first e-bike maker to achieve B Corp accreditation, joining a global community of responsible companies who meet the highest social and environmental standards. It had been years in the making, but it was just the beginning. Today, we continue to strive to become the most popular mode of transport in every home while leading the way toward a more sustainable future.

Cutting waste

One key aspect of our commitment is to make sure each and every bike we produce finds a happy home. That means earlier models are offered with great discounts, and previously ridden bikes are carefully refurbished and re-sold as Circular Bikes.

B Corp certification is administered by the nonprofit, B Lab. Its in-depth review of Cowboy's operations, business model and product are evaluated across five primary attributes to meet a rigorous standard for benefit corporation certification.
